Reborder Animation Studios is seeking a skilled 2D Animator experienced with Moho Pro to join our creative team. You’ll play a key role in bringing characters, environments, and stories to life in our animated sitcom projects. Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality 2D animations using Moho Pro based on storyboards and animatics.
- Rig and animate characters, props, and environments.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director, senior animators, and other team members to ensure animations align with the creative vision and project timeline.
- Implement revisions and refine animations based on feedback.
- Maintain consistency in style, quality, and timing throughout the production.
- Manage and organize project files to maintain a clean workflow.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Moho Pro and its tools, including rigging, Smart Bones, and layer management.
- Solid understanding of animation principles (e.g., timing, weight, squash, and stretch).
- Experience creating 2D animations for television, web series, or similar projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote/hybrid environment.
- Effective communication skills for giving and receiving feedback.
- Familiarity with other animation or design tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Photoshop) is a plus.
Additional skills:
- Experience working on comedic or narrative-driven animations.
- Knowledge of Nigerian or African cultural elements and storytelling.
- Strong portfolio showcasing 2D animation and character rigging in Moho Pro.
