3D/AutoCAD Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify detailed 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD and other CAD software.
• Develop 2D plan for steel replacement based on the hull gauging report.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create accurate models.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
• Perform simulations, tests, and analysis to validate design concepts.
• Assist in preparing documentation, reports, and presentations related to design and engineering projects.
• Maintain an organized database of all drawings and design documents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or other 3D modelling software.
• Strong technical drawing and detailing skills with a keen eye for accuracy.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and material properties.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the marine, maintenance, or fabrication scopes is an added advantage.
• Certification in AutoCAD or relevant CAD software is highly desirable.
