We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Manager to oversee our academic programs and ensure the highest standards of education delivery. This role involves managing curriculum implementation, supporting faculty, and enhancing student outcomes.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee the development, review, and implementation of the curriculum and teaching materials.
  • Ensure compliance with educational standards, accreditation requirements, and institutional policies.
  • Coordinate with faculty to design and update course content, assessments, and learning resources.
  • Monitor academic performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and support teaching staff to enhance instructional effectiveness.
  • Organize professional development workshops, training sessions, and peer reviews for faculty.
  • Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to educators.
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and evaluation of new faculty members. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement, retention, and academic performance.
  • Monitor student progress, identify at-risk students, and coordinate interventions.
  • Address student academic concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Prepare and manage academic schedules, timetables, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure smooth academic operations.
  • Generate reports on academic performance, faculty evaluation, and program effectiveness.
  • Assist in budget planning for academic resources and activities.
  • Liaise with parents, students, and external stakeholders to address academic inquiries.
  • Participate in academic committee meetings, policy reviews, and strategic planning.
  • Foster partnerships with educational organizations, accreditation bodies, and industry experts.


Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field (required).
  • PhD or EdD in a relevant discipline (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in academic management, teaching, or educational administration.
  • Proven experience in curriculum development, faculty management, and student support.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital teaching tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
  • Understanding of educational compliance, accreditation processes, and quality assurance standards.


Additional Skills:

  • Certifications in education management or leadership (preferred).
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during peak academic periods.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
