Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Manage and update accounting ledgers and databases.
Transaction Processing:
- Process incoming and outgoing payments related to clearing services, ensuring timely completion.
- Handle cash, cheques, and electronic payments, ensuring proper recording of all transactions.
Reconciliation:
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, investigating and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable to maintain accurate financial statements.
Reporting:
- Prepare periodic financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and cash flow forecasts, for management review.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial analysis.
Communication:
- Liaise with clients, banks, and regulatory bodies to address issues related to payments and accounts.
- Respond to inquiries regarding account statuses and transactions.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax obligations, and internal policies.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Support to Senior Accountants:
- Provide administrative support to senior accountants and finance managers in various financial tasks.
Requirements:
