Job Summary

We are looking to hire an Account Clerk who will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical and accounting tasks to support the financial operations of the organization. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Maintain and update accounting records, such as ledgers and journals.
  • Prepare invoices, expense reports, and bank deposits.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Verify and process bills, supplier invoices, and other financial documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Handle petty cash and monitor office expenses.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding financial records and transactions.
  • Maintain organized and accurate filing systems for accounting documents.
