Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Account Manager who will be responsible for building and maintaining PR initiatives, fostering client relationships, and driving impactful results. You will identify opportunities through network initiatives, strategic approach, and media relations expertise to contribute to the success of our clients and the continued growth of our firm. To be successful in this role, you should be adept at analyzing PR performance metrics and negotiating contracts. You should always demonstrate excellent communication, management, and customer service skills. Driven, ambitious, and willing to contribute to the business.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact in clients’ relationships.
  • Overseeing and managing multiple clients’ accounts.
  • Develop and implement monthly account planning and activities.
  • Contribute to the development of PR strategies with objectives, strategies and tactics that meet clients’ business needs.
  • Oversee media coverage by identifying and placing clients in targeted high-level media and blog opportunities.
  • Build and maintain outstanding client relationships.
  • Develop public relations strategies, pitch decks, social media, and marketing plans to implement.
  • Demonstrate the ability to initiate and close out on business development activities that drive growth for the organisation.
  • Monitor and measure the performance of PR campaigns.




Requirements:

Qualifications & Professional Experience:

  • BSc in public relations, marketing, communications, business administration, or other relevant courses.
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven work experience as an account executive in the PR industry.
  • Expertise in talent development.
  • Business development abilities with a track record of success.
  • Experienced at pitching and winning new clients and businesses.
  • Proven ability to conduct research and present complex industry information to target audiences.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing PR campaigns for a range of clients.
