Account Manager

Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations:

• Supervise all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial data recording and reporting.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide variance analysis on financial performance metrics and recommend corrective actions where needed.

Budget Management:

• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget.
• Track and report budget deviations, providing insights for realignment.

Audit and Compliance:

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
• Maintain compliance with local tax laws, financial regulations, and industry standards.

Internal Controls:

• Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Monitor adherence to policies, especially spending controls, to reduce fraud risks.

Leadership:

• Manage and mentor the Accounts Team, fostering professional development.
• Ensure team objectives align with organizational goals.

Inventory Management:

• Collaborate with the Manufacturing Accountant to oversee inventory records and reconciliations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g. ACA ACCA CPA) is mandatory.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting standards and tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills.
