Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Officer to manage the company’s financial records and ensure the smooth processing of financial transactions. This role involves handling invoicing, payments, and accounts management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Create and process invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
- Cross-check invoices with payments and expenses to maintain financial accuracy.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, tracking incoming and outgoing transactions.
- Send bills and invoices to clients and follow up on payments.
- Monitor and track organization expenses, ensuring they align with budgetary allocations.
- Process refunds and handle financial discrepancies as needed.
- Work on overdue payments, sending reminders, and coordinating collection efforts.
- Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and available payment options.
- Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation for audits and reporting.
- Assist in financial reporting, budget preparation, and reconciliation of accounts.
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho Books), and financial management tools.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to financial tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple financial transactions effectively.
