Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely preparation of financial statements.
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy.
- Prepare monthly profit and loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for management review.
- Ensure regular postings on Tally and update all pending posts.
- Reconcile bank statements, ledger accounts, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy.
- Develop and manage the annual budget in alignment with company goals.
- Monitor budget performance, provide variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in financial forecasting and long-term financial planning.
- Provide cost analysis and expense control strategies to optimize company profitability.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Professional certifications like ACA, ACCA, or ICAN preferred).
- Proven experience of 3-5 years as an Accountant in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software, especially Tally.
