for this role include Manage all accounting transactions that come through the business Process the bank statements and perform bank reconciliations Monthly filing of statutory (PAYE, VAT, WHT, etc.) Processing of invoices and liaising with other departments regarding payables. Interfacing with the company’s banking and business partners  Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct account allocations Maintaining Loan ledgers and other general ledgers on Xero Prepare a monthly Profit and Loss Statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement in accordance with local and regulatory accounting principles and ensure compliance with the accounting Policies (IFRS) Audit financial transactions and documents Handling any other financial function delegated by Superior or management staff.

Your profile

First Degree in accounting or finance-related discipline. Minimum of 2 years experience post-NYSC Professional student of Accounting (ICAN, ACCA, etc.) would be added advantage Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Exposure to finance or bank-related functions would be an added advantage. Versatile in using ERP such as Xero, NAV Dynamic, Sage, etc You exhibit strong analytical and IT skills, as well as Excel and spreadsheet expertise. Basic SQL knowledge is required for this position.
