Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Auditing and analyzing financial performance.
- Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
- Creating periodic reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, etc.
- Ensuring that accounting procedures comply with government regulations and requirements.
- Develop, implement and document recordkeeping and accounting systems using current computer technology.
- Publish financial statements on time
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Knowledge of QuickBooks
Requirements:
- Proven 3 - 5 years experience as an Accountant in retail store outlet is a bonus.
- An audit background is an added advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Hardworking and dedicated.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
- Ethical behavior.
