Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Analyze financial data and summarize financial performance for stakeholders.
• Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies. Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing findings and implementing improvements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and manage budgets. Conduct financial forecasting to aid in strategic decision-making.
• Tax Management: Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time. Advise on tax planning strategies to optimize savings and compliance.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and profitability assessments. Provide insights to support business growth and mitigate financial risks.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and recommend enhancements. Implement and maintain accounting systems and software.
• Team Leadership (if applicable): Mentor and guide junior accountants or finance staff. Ensure adherence to best practices within the accounting department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
• 2+ years of professional accounting experience, with a strong background in financial management and reporting.
• ICAN certification or ICAN in view.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational proficiency.
