We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to provide critical financial insights, ensure the integrity of accounting processes, and support business planning and decision-making. The role involves advanced accounting functions, financial analysis, and collaboration with department leaders, with the potential to supervise others.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide key business information and analysis to support expense, headcount, and volumetric targets.
  • Monitor general ledger entries and processing streams to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Prepare and analyze financial performance reports, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to develop and forecast capital, expense, and personnel budgets.
  • Ensure ethical and effective application of accounting guidelines, standards, procedures, and policies.
  • Offer expertise in utilizing financial data for business planning and performance evaluation.
  • Supervise accounting activities and guide junior staff, leveraging extensive experience in accounting practices.
  • Perform meal sheets verification, prepare and endorse Meal Summary Sheets, Job Completion Certificates, and Statements of Work.
  • Collate and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics, including menus, customer surveys, and contract compliance.
  • Manage and maintain the Catering SharePoint site, supporting automation and online reporting tools.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in accounting, with proficiency in GAAP and financial systems.
  • Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Experience with metrics reporting and compliance analysis.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint management and automation tools is an advantage.
  • Strong ethical standards and attention to detail in applying accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff, demonstrating leadership and expertise in the field.
