Accountant

• Prepare and maintain financial records for customs payments, shipping invoices, and freight charges, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Reconcile accounts related to shipping, warehousing, and terminal operations, tracking expenses for customs clearance and port services.
• Process payments for terminal operations, including vessel docking fees, bonded storage costs, and logistics service charges.
• Process monthly payroll, maintain payroll data, and ensure accurate salary disbursements.
• Generate financial reports on cargo movements, import/export duties, client payments, and operational expenses for management review.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable for transactions involving freight companies, customs brokers, and regulatory bodies.
• Review and process expense vouchers, invoices, and other financial documents for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage financial transactions related to bonded cargo, customs duties, port fees, and shipping logistics, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Generate financial reports on cargo movements, import/export duties, and operational expenses for management review.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, customs tariffs, and financial reporting standards applicable to bonded terminals and shipping operations.
• Assist in audits related to bonded warehouse financials, ensuring transparency in documentation for customs and regulatory reviews.
• Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to optimize cost control and financial efficiency in cargo handling and bonded terminal activities.

Requirements:

• 2 years experience
• Degree in Accounting
