Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Financial Record-Keeping: Maintaining and organizing financial records, including transactions, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Preparation of Financial Statements: Compiling financial data to prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Tax Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns, and advising on tax planning strategies.
• Auditing: Conducting internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and standards.
• Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and potential areas for improvement.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts based on past performance and future goals.
• Financial Consulting: Providing financial advice to management or clients, including recommendations for improving financial performance and efficiency.
• Risk Management: Assessing financial risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
• Software Proficiency: Using accounting software and spreadsheets to maintain records and generate reports efficiently.
• Communication: Communicating financial information effectively to stakeholders, including management, clients, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of HND
• 2 year of working experience
