Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
  • Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Conducting internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Evaluating and implementing internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Identifying and addressing financial discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing financial guidance and advice to management and employees.
  • Assisting with financial planning and decision-making.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Implementing and maintaining accounting software and systems.
  • Ensuring data security and integrity.
  • Developing and maintaining financial dashboards and reports.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging accounting technologies and trends



Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or ICAN (preferred).
  • Proven experience in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience in filing tax returns and preparing financial reports for regulatory authorities.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
  • Ability to analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
