Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide reports to support decision-making.
Taxation & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory financial requirements.
- Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, PAYE, company tax, etc.).
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Budgeting & Cost Control:
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor expenses and provide recommendations for cost reduction.
- Analyse financial trends and variances to ensure financial efficiency.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Manage invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement:
- Implement and maintain strong financial controls and processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and best accounting practices.
- Identify opportunities for improving financial operations and efficiencies.
Requirements:
- 2 years experience
- HND/Degree in Accounting
