Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Analyze budget variances and provide actionable insights to management. 
• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate records of all transactions
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and implement necessary adjustments to maintain
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic business decisions, including cost analysis, profitability analysis, and cash flow management.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
• Leverage technology to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within the service industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (LIRS/FIRS) and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Experience in the design or creative industry.
• Familiarity with project-based accounting and job costing
