Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accountant to join a real estate organization.

You will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and report to the Accounting Head.

Location - Festac Lagos

Job Responsibilities:
1. Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

2. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile company accounts, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

3. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), regulatory requirements, and company policies.

4. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

5. General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.

6. Financial Modeling: Develop financial models to support business decisions and strategic planning.

7. Tax Planning and Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, and participate in tax planning strategies.

Qualification/Requirements:
. HND/Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
. Professional certification is an added advantage
. Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in real estate.
. Strong knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
. Proficiency in any accounting software is a plus
. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Net Salary - N120,000
