Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS and industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, industry-specific financial laws, and corporate policies.
- Manage external audits and tax filings, liaising with auditors and tax authorities.
Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance:
- Analyze cost structures, production expenses, and inventory valuation to optimize manufacturing efficiency and profitability.
- Implement and maintain standard costing systems and variance analysis for raw materials, production processes, and finished goods.
- Monitor working capital, inventory turnover, and cost reduction strategies.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Conduct financial forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
- Provide strategic insights on financial performance, profitability, and cost-saving opportunities.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement:
- Establish and enforce strong internal controls to prevent fraud, errors, and inefficiencies.
- Streamline accounting processes through automation and ERP system enhancements.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in accounts payable, receivables, payroll, and tax reporting.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing training and career development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and sales teams to align financial strategies with business goals.
