Accounts Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will have relevant experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices. The Account Associate will be responsible for managing the company's financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Assist with audits and tax preparation activities.
• Provide financial analysis and support to management as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• ICAN/ ACCA is an added advantage
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Experience managing and leading accounting teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to pay attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
