Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining records.
- Support departmental staff by providing administrative assistance and facilitating effective communication.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of meetings, including creating agendas and taking minutes.
- Process documentation related to patient admissions, discharges, and billing inquiries.
- Maintain and organize filing systems, both electronic and paper-based.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with healthcare management software.
