Job Description/Requirements
Position: Advanced NDT Technician
Location: Abu Dhabi – UAE
Essential Job Functions :
- Carry out visual inspections
- PCN in PAUT/Eddy Current
- Follow approved test methods, techniques, procedures and work instructions
- Carry out IRIS, RFEC, ECT, RF, NF, MFL & MFD tube inspections
- Carry out Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) if qualified
- Carry out Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI) if qualified
- Carry out Radiographic Testing (RT) if qualified
- Carry out Ultrasonic Testing (UT) if qualified
- Interpret Industrial codes, standards, and specifications
- Review inspection results to determine if acceptable
- Interpret IRIS, RFEC, ECT, RF, NF, MFL & MFD and determine if acceptable
- Document inspection results and prepare inspection reports
- Clean parts/materials prior to inspection and after the completion
- Ensure good housekeeping in the immediate work place and surrounding premises
- Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
Requirements :
Education: Undergraduate
Licenses/Certificates: SNT-TC-1A / ASNT Level 2 or approved equivalent
Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in ANDT tubular and tank inspection
Skills: English language knowledge Basic computer skills
