 Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Advocacy and Behavioral Change Communication Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of communication strategies that effectively promote our brand, engage our audience, and drive key business objectives. This individual will assist in content creation, media relations, social media management, and internal communications.


 Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Management: Draft, edit, and distribute written communications, including press releases, blog posts, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  •  Develop engaging content for social media platforms and manage daily posting schedules.
  •  Assist in creating multimedia content, such as graphics, videos, and presentations.

  

  • Media Relations: Assist with press outreach and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets.
  • Social Media & Digital Engagement: Manage social media accounts, responding to inquiries and engaging with the online community.
  • Track and analyze social media performance to optimize content strategies.
  •  Assist in the development of digital marketing campaigns, including email campaigns and paid media.
  • Brand Consistency & Compliance: Ensure all communications are aligned with the company's branding, messaging, and tone.
  •  Assist with maintaining communications calendars and coordinating deadlines.
  •  Support the planning and execution of communication strategies for events, launches, and other initiatives.


 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in communications, public relations, or digital marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have a background in media and show production.
  • Be an excellent communicator and public speaker
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic graphic design skills (knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) are a plus.


 Key Competencies:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Eagerness to learn and stay updated on industry trends.
