We are in need of a specialist in Cassava farming with proven experience in cassava farming best practices to guide the farming team on the production. An experienced agronomist is needed.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cassava farming strategies to maximize crop yield and quality.
- Conduct soil, crop health, and pest management assessments, recommending solutions as needed.
- Train and support farmers in best practices for cassava cultivation, harvesting, and post-harvest management.
- Oversee crop monitoring, irrigation, and fertilization to enhance productivity.
- Perform field trials on cassava varieties to adapt practices to local conditions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and manage post-harvest processes.
- Collect and analyze data to track productivity and suggest improvements.
- Promote sustainable farming practices and environmental responsibility.
Requirements:
- Knowledge in cassava propagation, fertilization, weeding and harvesting, and other best farming techniques.
- This position is open/ preferably to a male candidate
- Vast knowledge of current agronomy practices and international guidelines is required.
- Minimum of a degree in agronomy, agriculture extension, or any relevant field of study
- 4-5 years of work experience in the same role or a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Hardworking committed and organized.
