Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Receive pre-alert and create shipments in Cargo wise
- Ensure Invoicing of all shipments in Cargo wise
- Pull Cargo wise operations reports as may be required
- Monitor and pull shipment information in Navigator
- Notify consignees of their shipment for document handover
- Review all shipment docs before invoicing
- Quotations and Pricing requests responses – Network and external
- Advising and understanding the Air & Ocean import and export processes and regulations in Nigeria to advise others
- Linking with key partners and vendors for service instructions and delivery
- Connecting customers to the right desk
- Investigating and solving customer problems on invoicing & shipments
- Provide customers with refunds and credit notes
- Providing feedback for clients to improve services
- Assisting management to discuss possible improvements to the company’s customer service
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism
- Other duties as may be assigned by management
Requirements:
- Graduate with industry-related experience
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant freight experience
- Strong IT and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical, Dynamic, Proactive, Discreet, Honest, Street Smart, flexible and can easily grasp company operating systems.
- Excellent written, oral communication & presentation skills.
- Ability to cultivate and nurture strong working relationships.
- Willing to work in either Lekki or Apapa axis.
- Remote working after probation - 1 day per week.
