Job Summary

We are seeking an Airbnb Compliance Intern to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring hosts operate their businesses smoothly and in compliance with local laws. In this role, you’ll compile and verify regulations for short-term rentals across various jurisdictions, create helpful resources for hosts.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Research and verify short-term rental regulations globally, including licensing, taxes, and restrictions, maintaining an up-to-date database.
  • Act as a primary contact for hosts on compliance, facilitating clear communication with local authorities.
  • Develop and update compliance resources, including guides, checklists, and articles to aid hosts in adhering to local regulations.
  • Engage in online communities to address common host concerns, offer solutions, and provide best practices for compliance.
  • Create educational content (videos, infographics, blog posts) to inform hosts on regulatory updates and Lodge Compliance offerings.
  • Collaborate with the product team to refine offerings based on host feedback and regulatory trends.
  • Foster relationships with regulatory bodies to support hosts in understanding and following local rules. Qualifications:
  • Strong research, analytical, and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for customer service and the hospitality industry.
  • Experience in hospitality, customer service, or community engagement is a plus.
  • Proficient with content creation, online community engagement, and database management tools.
  • Skilled at simplifying complex information and approaching challenges with creativity and enthusiasm.
