Mathematics Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Instruction and Lesson Planning.
• Developing and delivering lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
• Teaching various math subjects such as algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
• Adapting lessons to meet different learning styles and levels.
• Creating and grading assignments, tests, and quizzes.
• Providing feedback to students to help them improve their understanding.
• Preparing and analyzing student progress reports.
• Maintaining a conducive learning environment by managing behavior and classroom dynamics.
• Encouraging student engagement and participation.
• Implementing classroom rules and disciplinary measures when necessary.
• Offering extra help or tutoring for students who struggle with mathematics.
• Supporting students in developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Mentoring students regarding their academic and personal growth.
• Collaboration with Colleagues
• Working with other teachers to coordinate teaching strategies and curriculum alignment.
• Attending and contributing to staff meetings and professional development workshops.
• Collaborating with school counselors and administrators to support student needs.
• Communicating with parents about their child’s progress and addressing concerns.
• Participating in parent-teacher conferences and school events.
• Engaging with the community to foster a positive educational experience.
• Continuously improving teaching methods through ongoing professional learning.
• Staying updated on new developments in mathematics education and pedagogy.
• Participating in certification programs or advanced studies if required.
• Sponsoring or coaching math clubs, academic competitions, or other school activities.
• Guiding students in math-related projects, including science fairs or other academic contests.
• Leadership and administrative roles are crucial to relevant and crucial innovation, significant growth, and successful operation of academic institutions.
• Versatility and possession of relevant, strong, and impactful soft skills.

Requirements:

• Minimum of BSc. in Mathematics
• Must be have at least 3years work experience teaching Mathematics
