Android Developer

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with a strong background in Kotlin to join our dynamic team. Our mobile app is live and currently serves 150k active users. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Android application, ensuring the best user experience through pixel-perfect UI/UX integration and robust functionality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and improve existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin for a user base of 150k active users (and growing).

- Integrate payment gateways, in-app purchases, and recurring subscriptions with Google Pay.

- Implement maps and geolocation services.

- Work with Firebase services including Authentication, Cloud Messaging, Real-Time Database, Firestore Database, Crashlytics, Analytics, and Dynamic Links.

- Manage app distribution through Google Play Console.

- Collaborate with the UI/UX team to ensure pixel-perfect design integration.

- Utilize BitBucket for version control and manage projects using tools like ClickUp.

- Ensure code quality through thorough testing, documentation, and code commenting.

- Integrate third-party APIs and maintain real-time chat messaging features.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 5-6 years of experience in Android development with Kotlin.

- Experience working with applications serving a large user base.

- Must have experience working with Audio/Video players.

- Strong understanding of payment gateway integrations and Google Pay.

- Proficiency with Firebase services.

- Experience with Google Play Console and AWS.

- Knowledge of Postman, Swagger, API Integration.

- Experience with CICD pipelines and code merging.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
