Animation/Video Editor

Responsibilities:

• Creative Strategy: Develop and implement creative strategies for animation and video projects that align with client objectives and MiBanana’s overall vision.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of animators, video editors, and motion graphic designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Project Management: Oversee the entire video production process, from concept development to final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Content Creation: Plan, edit, and produce high-quality video content, including animations, explainer videos, promotional videos, and social media content.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their vision and goals, providing creative input and ensuring the final product meets their expectations.
• Quality Control: Ensure all video content is visually appealing, consistent with brand guidelines, and effectively communicates the intended message.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro) and animation tools to create compelling visual content.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in animation and video production, applying them to keep MiBanana at the forefront of the industry.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze the performance of video content across various platforms, using insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, design, and sales, to ensure cohesive and integrated visual content across all channels.
• Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and grow professionally.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in animation and video editing.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro) and animation tools, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise.
• Creative Vision: A strong creative eye and the ability to develop innovative concepts that captivate audiences and align with client goals.
• Leadership Abilities: Proven experience in leading and managing a team, with strong mentoring and team-building skills.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and feedback to clients and team members.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to quality control, ensuring all content is polished, on-brand, and error-free.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in video editing or animation software.
• Agency Experience: Previous experience working in a marketing or creative agency environment is highly preferred.
