Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and sustainable building designs that align with our vision for an eco-friendly residential community.
- Collaborate with our development team to conduct feasibility studies that assess the viability of architectural concepts.
- Perform site analysis to determine the best layout and orientation for buildings, ensuring optimal use of natural resources and minimal environmental impact.
- Ensure that all architectural designs comply with local zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.
- Work closely with engineers, landscape architects, and other consultants to integrate all aspects of the project.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and other documentation required for project approval and construction.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in sustainable building practices and materials, and incorporate them into designs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated experience in designing residential projects with an emphasis on sustainability; a portfolio showcasing relevant work is required.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and graphic presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals and stakeholders.
