Architect

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of architectural projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements and local building regulations
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants to develop detailed project specifications and architectural drawings
• Oversee project teams and coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and other specialists
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design compliance
• Create and present design proposals and 3D visualizations to clients
• Stay updated with local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to the firm's design standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in architectural design
• Registration with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant design software
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with high-end residential and commercial projects
• Excellent knowledge of Nigerian building codes and construction practices
• Experience working in Lagos's luxury real estate market
• Strong project management and team leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• LEED certification or experience with sustainable design practices
• Experience with BIM technology and 3D modeling
• Knowledge of local contractors and suppliers in Lagos
• Understanding of tropical architecture and climate-responsive design
