Job Summary

3 months internship opportunity that would likely lead to a full time employment for the position of an Architect.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Project planning: Developing project plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Design: Creating architectural designs and specifications, including conceptual renderings
  • Construction administration: Assisting with construction administration, including submittals, change orders, and site observation
  • Client meetings: Participating in client meetings to understand their needs and develop architectural solutions
  • Teamwork: Working as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Communication: Coordinating and attending meetings, preparing for meetings, and taking minutes
  • Reporting: Compiling data and preparing weekly reports
  • Tracking: Tracking and recording project progress, timelines, and deliverables.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Professional licensure as an architect (or working towards licensure is a plus).
  • Proven experience in architectural design, project planning, and construction administration (1–2 years preferred).
  • Experience managing architectural projects from concept to completion.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.
  • Excellent design, visualization, and conceptualization skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality.
  • Creative and innovative mindset to develop unique architectural solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
  • Availability to attend on-site visits and client meetings as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address design challenges and ensure project timelines are met.
  • Commitment to staying updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques.
