Job Summary
This is a full-time role based in the Admissions Directorate. The post holder will support the Team lead with implementing the Strategic Objectives of the Admissions Directorate of the School. This will include but not limited to student selection, on boarding students and implementing and overseeing the admission process while also providing direction and support to colleagues. The post holder may be required to work extra hours including some weekends during peak or busy periods.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Implement and actualize the strategic objectives of the Admissions Directorate to achieve enrollment targets.
- Develop and improve standard operating procedures for key admission functions, including application screening, interview management, application processing, and onboarding.
- Drive the successful achievement of annual enrollment targets through strategic initiatives and operational management.
- Lead and guide the Admissions Team, steering activities and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Collaborate with applicants, gather feedback, and use business intelligence for process improvement.
- Oversee program marketing, including recommending events, partnerships, and initiatives to boost awareness and relevance.
- Ensure operational efficiency by maintaining an active and responsive online application portal, in collaboration with the Tech Team.
- Enhance user experience on the online admissions platform through feedback and functional updates with the Hybrid Learning Environment (HLE) Team.
- Vet all outgoing communications, such as offer letters, rejection letters, and onboarding guides, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
- Proactively improve conversion rates by addressing applicant inquiries and streamlining processes.
- Process student applications, maintain accurate admission databases, and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Schedule and oversee applicant interviews, ensuring adherence to departmental policies.
- Develop timelines and enforce compliance for application processing and student onboarding.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including the Communication and Media Team, to align on marketing plans and target awareness strategies.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies, recommending reforms based on applicant feedback and outcomes.
- Generate and oversee standardized departmental reports, including admission cycle, session information, and candidate information reports.
- Continuously enhance the student/participant experience through training recommendations and feedback.
Requirements:
- Expertise in contemporary admission practices and academic administration at tertiary and postgraduate levels.
- Proficiency in admissions software and database management.
- Strong command of the English language and excellent report writing skills.
- Minimum BSc in Public Administration or related fields; a master’s degree or relevant certifications is an advantage.
- At least 7 years of experience in education or learning and development sectors, with international exposure preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, communication technology, and admissions software.
- Proven experience managing diverse teams and resolving conflicts.
- High empathy and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
- Adaptable to changing technologies and environments, with a commitment to diversity and equal opportunities.
