Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of design concepts for seasonal collections, including sketching, fabric selection, and garment construction.
- Stay up-to-date with fashion trends, competitor analysis, and consumer behavior to inform design decisions.
- Create fashion sketches and technical drawings.
- Support the team in selecting fabrics, trims, and other materials for new collections
- Participate in fittings, take notes on garment fit, and collaborate with pattern makers to make necessary adjustments.
- Assist with organizing design meetings, keeping track of project timelines, and managing design samples.
Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric types, and fashion trends.
- Excellent sketching and illustration skills, both by hand and digitally.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A passion for fashion and a creative mindset
Location: Lekki
Remuneration: NGN 150,000- 200,000
