Job Description/Requirements

The Dangote Cement Plc is seeking an Assistant General Manager- Quality Assurance and Quality Control to ensure that all products and processes meet the highest quality standards. The chosen candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement quality control measures, conduct inspections, and develop quality assurance programs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure adherence to quality standards

Perform regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and corrective actions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and ensure continuous improvement

Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Develop and maintain quality management systems, including document control and recordkeeping

Train and educate employees on quality control processes and procedures

Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance programs and initiatives

Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements

Lead and mentor a team of quality control professionals

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.

Minimum of 18 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control.

Strong knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards.

Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a similar role.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Certification in quality management is a plus.
