Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
Field Data Collection:
- Assist in setting up and operating surveying equipment like total stations, GPS units, and levels to measure distances, angles, and elevations on site.
- Take accurate field notes and readings, recording relevant details about property boundaries and topographical features.
- Mark and identify survey points on the ground using survey markers and flags.
Data Processing and Analysis:
- Transfer field data into surveying software for calculations and analysis.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations to determine property boundaries and elevations.
- Assist in creating preliminary sketches and maps based on collected data.
Site Preparation and Support:
- Prepare survey sites by clearing vegetation and identifying access points.
- Assist in setting up survey control points and reference markers.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure accurate project layout.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare basic survey reports detailing findings, measurements, and any discrepancies encountered.
- Organize and maintain survey records and documentation according to company standards.
Requirements:
- 1 year experience
- Minimum of OND
