Job Summary

Our client is a major player in the FMCG market segment (foods/beverage/household appliances) with a head office located in Lagos but with branches, dealers and distributors nationwide. They urgently desire to recruit an Assistant Warehouse Manager for their Onitsha Depot.

  • Minimum Qualification : HND
  • Experience Level : Senior level
  • Experience Length : 7 years
  • Working Hours : Full Time

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Optimally managing warehouse facility
  • Reviewing the efficiency of warehouse storage
  • Oversee warehouse operations
  • Responsible for developing plans to monitor inventory utilization and re-order levels
  • Understanding the use of FIFO and LIFO concepts
  • Leverage all inventory documentation for effective warehouse management
  • Undertake stock count
  • Ensure effective storage that facilitates ease of assessing the inventory


Requirements:

  • HND/B.Sc in Warehousing/Accounting/Business Administration or a related course.
  • At least 7 years of warehouse management work experience preferably in an FMCG company
  • Must be very hardworking with a high level of integrity and leadership skills
  • Extensive knowledge of inventory management and administration is mandatory
  • Ideal candidates should presently reside in Onitsha.
  • Must be between 35-40 years
