Job Summary:
As an Audit Account, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the financial health of GEZKEN TRADE NIGERIA LTD. You will be responsible for conducting thorough financial audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and identifying potential risks and areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute comprehensive financial audits of the company's accounts, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Assess the adequacy of internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance financial reporting and risk management.
* Identify and evaluate financial risks and irregularities, and report findings to management.
* Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
* Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
* Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports.
* Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information and documentation for audits.
* Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Professional accounting certification (ACA, ACCA, ICAN) is preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial auditing.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
