We are seeking to hire an Audit/Tax Officer in a professional audit firm (Chartered Accounting Firm) based in Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Taking part in clients’ audit duties, and audit visitations to clients’ offices.
- Vouching of financial records.
- Preparation of schedules.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Drawing trial balance and preparing final accounts.
- Accounting functions including bookkeeping, writing vouchers, and ledgers, and preparing monthly/annual reports for clients.
- FIRS/LIRS tax duties as may be assigned including payment of taxes, filing returns, visiting tax officers, and assisting during clients’ tax audits.
- Other accounting, audit, and tax-related duties at graduate level.
Requirements:
- BSC/HND Accounting or AAT final stage.
- Computer literacy- proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of any accounting software.
- 2 years post-qualification experience in an audit firm.
- Should be prepared to travel outside Lagos for work.
- Should be a male.
- Should reside in Ikeja or environs.
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Remuneration: NGN 80,000 Monthly (based on experience and proven abilities).
