Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver clear and engaging lessons and practical workshop sessions covering key areas such as engine systems, diagnostics, vehicle electronics, suspension, brakes, and emerging technologies like hybrid and electric vehicles.
- Develop, update, and improve course materials to reflect current industry trends and advancements.
- Assess student learning through assignments, hands-on projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
- Offer academic guidance, mentorship, and one-on-one support to help students achieve their goals.
- Maintain a safe, well-organized workshop environment and ensure students use tools and equipment properly.
- Work closely with fellow staff to continuously improve the quality and relevance of the automotive program.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the automotive industry and bring those insights into the classroom.
- Take part in regular staff meetings, training sessions, and school-wide events.
- Help organize industry-related activities such as company visits, internships, and guest speaker sessions to enhance the student experience.
