About the Role
By the end of 2025, Amana Market seeks to be the leading platform for market transactions in Nigeria and Kenya. To meet these demands we are dedicated to building out a fast, trusted, and easy web platform and USSD to deliver best-in-class support to our users. We’re looking for an experienced Laravel + Vue developer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Your roles will include:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CoAmana’s codebase to meet set requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and incorporate requirements.
- Testing and fixing bugs as directed by the Engineering Manager.
- Provide support and troubleshoot issues within CoAmana’s product offerings.
- Write secure, documented, maintainable software in a team environment.
- Continually improve the security, reliability, and scale of the platform.
- Continually help improve the development, build, test, and deployment processes.

Skills Required
- 3+ years of working experience with Laravel and Vue JS.
- Strong understanding of how to build and support performant web applications.
- Working knowledge of Unix Filesystems.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Knowledge of MySQL, Docker, and Building tools such as Composer and NPM.
- Strong emphasis on writing highly testable code.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Experience with Git and Version control systems.
