Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain the backend architecture for KDN+ streaming services.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of server-side logic and API requests.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize platform performance and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection protocols.
• Work with AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, etc.) to manage cloud infrastructure.
• Integrate 3rd party services like payment systems and recommendation engines.
• Ensure timely delivery of milestones and features for pre-launch and post-launch phases.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (3+ years) as a backend developer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of server-side languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, or Ruby.
• Expertise in databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and server-side services.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with CMS, especially AWS S3, is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of AI/ML integration and recommendation engines.
• Understanding of payment gateway integrations and security protocols.
