Backend Developer (ASP.NET Core)

We are seeking a talented Backend Developer with expertise in .NET Core to join our team. Our backend infrastructure supports a live user base of 150k active users. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our language learning application, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. You will collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain backend services using .NET Core for a system supporting 150k active users (and growing).

- Integrate payment gateways, in-app purchases, and recurring subscriptions.

- Implement and manage databases (SQL, MSSQL).

- Deploy and manage applications on Windows Server and AWS (EC2 & S3).

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.

- Utilize BitBucket for version control and manage projects using tools like ClickUp.

- Create and maintain API documentation using Postman and Swagger.

- Ensure code quality through thorough testing, documentation, and code commenting.

- Integrate third-party APIs and maintain real-time chat messaging features.

- Manage server and database deployments and monitoring.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 5-6 years of experience in backend development with .NET Core.

- Experience working with systems supporting a large user base.

- Strong understanding of payment gateway integrations.

- Proficiency with SQL, MSSQL, and database management.

- Experience with Windows Server and AWS deployments.

- Knowledge of Postman, Swagger, JSON, and APIs.

- Experience with CICD pipelines and code merging.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
