Backend Developer(C#,Node, etc)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and APIs to support our financial services platform.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and system architecture.
• Implement security measures and data protection protocols to ensure the safety and integrity of sensitive financial information.
• Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance the functionality of our platform.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve system reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the development team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer, ideally within the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or Go.
• Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and experience with database design and optimization.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in application development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with financial systems, trading platforms, or payment processing solutions.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial industry.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Certification in relevant technologies or cloud platforms.

Location: Lagos State.
