Backend Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems and APIs using Laravel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features for delivery and logistics operations.
• Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of backend services.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Manage database structures, perform data migrations, and optimize queries.
• Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and logistics APIs.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a backend developer, with a focus on Laravel.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework.
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of microservices architecture is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience in delivery or logistics platforms.
