Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods
- Follow recipes and formulas to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Operate commercial baking equipment, including mixers, ovens, and proofers
- Decorate and package baked goods for display and sale
- Develop new recipes and ideas to keep offerings fresh and exciting
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a baker or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- High school (S.S.C.E), OND, or equivalent degree.
