Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fund Accountant - SEC Sponsored at Zylus Group International in Lekki. The Fund Accountant will be responsible for managing financial statements, fund accounting, financial reporting, NAV calculations, and finance-related tasks on a day-to-day basis.
o Delivering accurate and timely production reporting to clients by ensuring efficient and accurate trade processing, NAV review, Corporate Actions processing, security valuation, financial statements production, query handling and other ad hoc reporting for funds
Daily/Monthly/Quarterly reconciliation of investment positions and fair market values.
o Responsible for all postings relating to transactions on the asset management software
o Overseeing monthly and quarterly investor reporting
o Write reports periodically to management on Fund activities and other related issues.
o Assisting with SEC reports
o Payment of periodic fees such as management fees, custody fees, trustee fees and incentive fees.
o Daily call-over of transactions processed.
o Regular reconciliation of GLs
o Any duties or responsibility that may be assigned
o Prepare financial statements in IFRS format
o Prepare weekly/monthly asset reconciliation
o Ensure timely settlement of capital market transactions
o Execute fund transfer instructions in line with agreed mandates
o Track and ensure prompt receipt of Corporate actions
o Preparation of Accounts and Handling Audit Issues
Qualifications
- Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and NAV skills
- Fund Accounting expertise
- Finance knowledge
- Experience in creating financial reports
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential
- Must be SEC sponsored individual
- Salary Range 200 - 350k
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
