Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a comprehensive branding strategy that captures the church’s mission, vision, and values.
- Develop brand guidelines and ensure consistent application across all communication channels.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local and national media.
- Write and distribute press releases, and manage media inquiries to ensure positive coverage of the church’s activities.
- Use social media and content to drive brand and awareness objectives.
- Prepare and implement crisis communication plans.
- Address any negative publicity or issues swiftly and effectively to protect the church’s reputation.
- Track and analyze brand performance and public perception.
- Use metrics and feedback to refine strategies and improve the church’s image.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- A master’s degree or additional certifications in branding or PR is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in brand management and public relations, preferably but not limited to a faith-based or non-profit context.
- Demonstrated success in managing high-profile campaigns, media relations, and leading teams. Preferred Skillset

- Strong experience in managing media relations, writing press releases, and coordinating public events.
- Building and maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets.
