Job Description/Requirements
- Drive the implementation of the marketing strategy for the company in line with objectives.
- With the Support the Category Manager, prepare the Annual Country & Brand Plans for the Marketing Function.
- Lead responsibility for brand management and corporate identity including portfolio management, product renovation and reengineering.
- Monitor brand profitability & propose corrective measures to meet the profitability goals incl price increase, product renovation etc.
- Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
- Under supervision of the Category Manager, Plan and execute the Marketing Operations (activations, visibility tools) under strict Budgetary Controls
- With the Support of the Category Manager develop new brand communication in close liaison with Group Marketing
- Minimum 5 years within multi-national or other major FMCG company of substantial size and turnover with a balanced mix of hands-on Sales & Brand Management/Marketing experience preferably in the Food & Beverage sector.
- Sound knowledge of Nigerian media landscape and consumers.
- Experience of having developed new & effective communication materials including TV copies.
- Able to collaborate efficiently with internal and external teams.
- Good communication skills, both written and orally.
- Experience working with & successfully managing 3rd party agencies / strategic partners.
- Budgetary & cost control management.
- Competitive intelligence & insights. .
- Good experience in driving new product developments
